Claire's Birthday Fun Day!

 Well, Claire's Birthday will be Wednesday and so she had a few friends for a movie and then to have sweet treats!!! It is finally sunny here and warming up a bit, so they had smoothies and ice cream outside and just had fun!  Can't believe my baby is almost 12......

22 Years! And a busy week to boot!!

Happy 22 Years to the love of my life!

The Boys & Girls Club Steak & Burger Dinner was amazing as Coach Norvell gave an inspiring talk to the kids...we were paired at our table with 2 Boys club members and they were amazing and precious.  Made our week.   The things our city is doing for theses kids is phenomenal.  Feeling the Memphis love this week!!

Well, I know have a 17 year old and a child old enough to attend Prom.....geez......

Jesse took his girlfriend Emily to Prom, and they both looked lovely and are just so sweet and kind to each other.  That makes me happy!

One of the the girls decided to dress her sweet old dog in a tux and he wandered in front long enough for this hilarious pic! So glad Jesse has such a good group of friends at SBA.  A great night was had by all!!

Well, Our Aunt and Uncle who live down in Florida came to Memphis to visit for a few days, and yesterday they played golf with Lance and the kids! We were blessed by beautiful weather, and a blast was had by all!  Claire is improving and Jesse showed off his skills as well!  Can't wait for our next golf date!!

Final Night Of Cotillion!

Well, Claire completed her 5 week Cotillion Class and much to her original dismay, she ended up having a great time and learning along the way.  Last night was Parent Night, so she got to show off her skills to Lance, and then dance with him as well! Let's just say Claire has the rhythm....Lance not so much!

Busy week for Claire!

 Well, Claire just returned from her 3 day 6th Grade Field Trip to Camp McDowell in Alabama.  They had lovely weather, and 3 days of canoeing, hiking, and all type of group trust exercises.  And lots of bugs and wildlife along the way!  She came absolutely thrilled but exhausted....and wants to return!

Claire went to her 4th week of Cotillion (one week left!) and it was a Dinner Dance where she had to eat a 4 course meal and dance with boys in her grade.  She said it wasn't nearly as awkward as she thought!  We are proud of her for breaking out of her comfort zone for a few hours these past weeks!!! We have a 17 year old!

Well, this boy turned 17 yesterday, much to the amazement of Lance and I.  He had a big week....ACT, Junior Retreat, and Birthday...all within 4 days of each other!

His sweet girlfriend Emily made him an adorable golf frame, along with other sweet gifts....

Jesse had a few friends and his grandparents all over for lunch and cake...and of course..Golf Trivia!

Yes I am getting old.....
