Senior Golf comes to a close.....Jesse's last match ever
It was a bittersweet day for Jesse as he played in his last tournament ever at Windyke at Regionals. He did well, but not well enough to make it to State. But, nonetheless, we have been so proud of him! He played 4 years on the varsity squad, and that is something. Jesse will not play college golf, as he wants to focus on getting an academic scholarship and become an engineer....he thinks the the two together would not be the best idea.....
Seniors with Coach Hervey before the last match....
You wouldn't know Jesse had a horrible cold from the big smile on his face mid match......
And so it ends......proud momma.....it did not end the way he wanted, but he had the best attitude of anyone out there!

Please don't get cold!
Well, this is what I have the pleasure of seeing all summer long all day long. At any given moment, I have 4 hummingbirds between 2 feeders right next to each other. They let me get so close, and I just love them. I don't want it to get cold so my friends can stay all year round!

September Whirlwind

Jesse after the Father Ryan Tourney......this explains how busy this boy has been lately!!!
Claire's SFA Golf Coach surprised the team with their very own Ogio Golf Bags after their match on Thursday! It's as big as Claire, but she is so excited to carry it to the next match!!
The only girls on the SFA golf team playing a team of all boys! Go girls go! And boy did they hold their own!

Jesse goes to the Father Ryan Invitational!!!
Well, the top 6 SBA players went to Murfreesboro for the big Father Ryan Invitational today!!
While Jesse did not do as well as he had hoped, the team did well with an 8th place finish out of 17. Considering the Nashville area is filled with amazing golf teams, we were pleased!!!
This is what I loved seeing the most.....and the only team to take the time to pray as a team before the tourney began......

My dear dear friend Laura had twin girls, Nola and Madyn, on Sunday and I had the pleasure of visiting them several times in the NICU! Laura is doing much better and Nola is already home....nothing like newborn baby love! Can't wait to rock these sweet ones soon!!
Jesse was invited to Knoxville and Gatlinburg with Emily and her family over this long weekend....he had a blast and just loved seeing the Great Smoky Mountains! Thank you Cardosi Family for your amazing hospitality!
