Claire plays in the Randy Watkins!

Claire played for the very first time in the very popular Randy Watkins Tourney at beautiful Lake Caroline in Ridgeland, MS.  Bad news is she didn't get a practice round.  Good news is she struggled a tad on day 1 with an 81 and fixed it the next day with a 74!  He great grandfather (Lance's grandpa) is 89 and came to watch her match!  He was the best cheerleader!!!

Claire's Senior Night!

Well, it's been anabsolute whirlwird these past 2 weeks.  We are all tired, tired, and so very proud of Claire.  2 more big tournaments left befroe the cold comes.  Claire was so proud of herself last night as they read off her golf accolades.  The student body was cheering her on so loudly!  Her lst homegame at SBA was a "Pink Out".....good thing she had lots of that in her closet!  Love you Claire and we are beyond words proud of you!!

Well, when Saturday morning arrived, Claire realized she was still so very exhausted from the State Golf Tourney, but instead of withdrawing, she battled it out in windy, rainy, chilly, you name it weather to pull a 2nd place!  Her putting wasn't what she hoped on day one, but she corrected on day 2!  Proud of that 75 and of the little beast we call Claire!!!

Claire finishes her high school golf career with a bang!!!!

We were so very proud of Claire this week after the TSSAA IIA State Golf Championships at Sevierville Golf Club in Sevierville, TN.  Let me tell you this course is a mean mean beast.  Long , long, super windy, and illegal pin placement abound! Greens like granite.  And she shot a 76/73!  Tied for 6th in Tennessee!  She played her best golf ever!  So proud and all her golf friends played with her (she beat them all BTW).  She was the best golfer from the West TN region/our region.   6th best in TN!  She ended her high school career in the best way!  Can't wait to see her in college play next year!  Go Claire go !

Claire took a much needed golf break this weekend for the LPGA NWA Walmart Championships in Rogers, Ark.  It's ouur very favorite tournament to attend.  This weekend was delightful in every way!   Lydia showered Claire with attention, gave her swag, and spoke with her throughout the 2 days we followed her group. We got our steps in and then some...Rogers, Ark is jst a lovely little city!
