We've had snow, ice, and cold weather around her for the past 10 days. Claire finally went back to school today! She is learning to get used to this weather!
In the middle of Memphis having horrible weather conditions on the road, we broke out Thursday and took 2 days to drive Jesse to Northville, Michigan to begin his TRACK Position with GM as a software engineer in the Warren, Michigan location. We drove to Louisville, Kentucky the first day, and then drove the 2nd day to Northville. Jesse was fortunate to rent a room from a lovely family and they offered it to him again until he moves out when Emily moves up after they marry July 6th!
Jesse has been at home with us since he graduated December 9th, so it's been great having him...he and Emily did a ton of wedding planning and completed all their marriage prep classes!
We Southerners aren't used to seeing snow piled up on the parking lots...but they did such a great job everyhwere of keeping the parking lots and roads clear!

Jesse apparantly has to become a Detriot Lions fan....
We had dinner before we left with Mrs Elizabeth, who owns the house where Jesse is staying. She invited us to a Lions watch party right before we headed to the airpot, and they won. So that was fun! Jesse already has a wonderful group of people who will help him navigate all things Michigan and they quickly realized he can fix all theing tech!!
We will miss Jesse so much, but we are beying proud of his new opportunity at such a wonderful company and he will contribute so much to GM! They are getting a southern gem!! Emily is coming in jut a few weeks to see him, so it will be perfect timing!!!!
