We are so very tired....And so very proud of Claire and her LTU Golf Team as they crushed it at the WHAC CHampionships Tuesday and Wednesday. They walked 36 holes Tuesday and fininshed up with 18 on Wednesday and beat the 2nd place team by 15 strokes! We were so proud of Claire and all the girls. Only 5 girls traveled plus an alternate, and best 4 scores counted. Glad Claire's counted both days ! The other teammates traveled for the last day of the tournament. So they were all there when they realized LTU was going to clinch the WHCA title. That was great to watch! Claire and the LTU Team are headed to WHAC Nationals in Ann Arbour, Michigan! What are the odds! Every year they change locations to dif parts of the country, and this year it's in Ann Arbour...That's 45 minutes from LTU! So, Lance and I are headed back up in just 2 1/2 weeks!
Claire was named WHAC Newcomer of the year voted by coaches of the 13 schools in the WHAC. We were so proud for her!

Claire was able to join us for mass and brunch. She headed to Augusta, GA shortly after with her team to the Tournament for her practice round!
