Such a busy weekend!!

Well, what a great and bust weekend we've had!! Jesse enjoyed every moment of the Italian Fest at our church this year. He got pretty high on the rock wall, but lost steam because he "had just no more energy"....

Jesse spend like 20 minutes on this hand propelled train that just wore him out!!

Before the Italian Fest, Jesse had a game and won 19-1. Go Tigers! I love this pic because you can see the ball just after Jesse hit it....great job Jess!

Jesse enjoying the new bird exhibit at the zoo. We purchased a bird feeding stick and they just perched on the stick and ate away! Lots coming up...promise to post again soon!!!

Last Day of 2nd Grade!!!

Well, Jesse was all smiles on his last day of 2nd Grade and ready to begin his summer break!

Busy Week!!

Well, anyone who know us knows we love nature and all the creatures that come with it .....well, maybe not Lance. Well, we've had a skink that lives in our garage for about 3 years now. He comes out whenever it's warm and sunny, and Claire wanted me to take a picture of it...so here it is. I suppose we should give it a name??

Jesse was John Sevier, Tennessee's 1st Governor, in his 2nd Grade Tennessee History Pageant today at school! He looked great in his Revolutionary War- Era costume. He did a great job and spoke so loudly and clearly for everyone to hear!.Way to go Jesse. Great job!!!

Here's the kids afterwards.....at the end of the performance, an Elvis impersonator made an appearance and sang 2 songs. The kids had a blast.....and the parents did too!!!!

Keeping up with Claire!!

Well, Claire received a brand new blinged out trike from Nana & PawPaw for her Birthday and has been tearing up the pavement ever since. She collects things along the way and puts them in her basket in the back!

Mom and I have been sorting through garage sale stuff, when lo and behold, Claire finds a place to rest! She spent lots of time in that basket today....she's not going to like it much when she finds out Grandma is selling it!!

Cinco De Mayo Grahamwood Style!

Well, this week Jesse's class finished up their lesson on Mexico and what a way to cap it off but with a field trip to a Mexican Restaurant! The kids had a blast and were just perfectly behaved. Great way to complete thier lesson on the rich history of Mexico!

Happy #3 Claire!!!

Well, it's very hard to believe that out little Claire turned 3 yesterday!!! It was a little bittersweet...seeing how fast this time has flown...However, we were blessed to be surrounded by our family and friends on this day and it couldn't have been any better! Aside from a cake incident and the fact that Claire refused to sit still for any pictures, the day was great! Claire feels right at home at River City Gymnastics, which is where we held her party yesterday!

Well, getting all the kids together for a group picture proved to be a more difficult task than anticipated, so this is as good as it gets! The coaches gave Claire a cute t shirt and medal for having her party at the gym....

Playdates, Parties, & Holy Communion

Well, we had the pleasure of having Lily Grace for a couple of hours recently while her mom ran errands! The girls just had such a great time as usual. Snacks, of course, we had by all!

The little "Jesse Cookies" we had made for Jesse's Party that he passed out to his friends after the party was over!

Jesse's candle was a sparkler that was an "8" shape and caused quite the smoke problem. Well, we learned not to do sparklers inside anymore!

Jesse and his fellow PRE Communicants after their 1st Communion. Jesse was the 2nd one and just did a spendid jpb. We are so proud of Jesse and the wonderful young man he is becoming!

Well, Jesse had his much anticipated Birthday Party this afternnoon, and glad to say, it lived up to his expectations! These are just a few pics, and I will post more. But here are just a few. Jesse and all the kids had an absolute blast and I think they all went home exhausted!(well, maybe a little sugared up)

Happy Easter 2009!!

What a lovely Easter we had surrounded by family in Jackson, MS. Claire on her 1st Easte Egg Hunt of the weekend....she was so proud of her finds!!

Jesse is all business as they give the kids the OK to start looking for Easter Eggs at the 2nd Easter Egg hunt, this time at the Hare Family Reunion!

Guess Who Got Braces????

Jesse did well getting his braces on yesterday and picked white and blue braces. No surprise there! He is quite sore today and shoved the wax in his mouth...as seen in this picture....

NYC Weekend and Happy 8th Birthday Jesse!!!!

Lance & I went to NYC for a conference and turned it into a long weekend. We promised Jesse we'd put some photos on here...especially of the dinosaur fossils! We had a blast and just shoved as much as we could into 3 1/2 days! We'd love to go back with Jesse & Claire sometime!

Well, it's been a while since I've posted Claire in action at gymnastics, so I thought I'd post some photos of her in class today! She is always giddy at gymnastic class...as shown here!

She is getting much better at walking across the parallel bars quickly.

Jesse had his biography presentation last week at school and portrayed Milton Hershey(of the Hershey Company) and did a magnificent job! Way to go Jesse! The audience particularly enjoyed the Hershey samples at the end!!!
