SFA's Annual Father Daughter Dance....A Night In Paris!

 Well, I must have been out of my mind when I offered to chair the Annual SFA Father Daughter Dance this year.....I am a tired lady today, but the smiles from all the girls and dads last night was totally worth it!! I couldn't have done it without Jesse and my crew of mom helpers, who I love dearly!

Family Birthday Celebration for Claire's 10th!!

 Well, Claire's Birthday is tomorrow, but with it being a Sunday, and tomorrow being a very full school day, we decided to celebrate today with family! Claire wanted a Luau theme, so that was easy and fun to do.....thanks you God for the beautiful day!!

Will post more when she has her slumber party next week, but how blessed we are to have Claire in our lives!  Not a day doesn't go by that I don't think about how lucky I am....we were surrounded by family today and had a wonderful day celebrating Claire.....Happy 10th Sweet Claire!

Le Bonheur Gala

 Well, Lance and I were invited by some friends to be their guests at The LeBonheur Gala at The Peabody to benefit the LeBonheur Fed Ex Family House.  We had a blast and there was so much going on downtown it was great to see!  Redbirds, Grizzlies Game, tons of Proms and events....proud to be a Memphian on nights like this!

 I break out my Great Grandmother Crawford's vintage watch she passed on to me on fancy occasions. Love getting the opportunity to wear it!

Over a million dollars was raised last night for the families of LeBonheur to have a place to stay, just amazing.  Magic Johnson was there and boy can he raise the money....had a wonderful time!!

Jesse Turns 15!!!! That Can't Be Right......

 Well, Jesse turned 15 at 1:13pm yesterday.....ironically enough, Bartlett had a huge thunderstorm with severe lightening, and wouldn't you know it, but lightening struck a pole and we had no power for 7 hours.....So, yes I improvised and did my best with a house full of people in almost pitch black.  We broke out the candles, flashlights, and smartphone flashlights and had us a party in the dark.  Jesse thought it was very neat and wants to do it again next year....not gonna happen.

 Jesse has had his eye on this for some time......we had to explain to Nana that Fallon and Timberlake really weren't running......we can dream though!

Can't believe Jesse is 15...can't wait to see what this year holds for him! He is studying for his permit test, doing well in school, and practicing golf so much.  We hope he keeps it up. We love you Jesse!!!!

Jesse Nashville Golf Tourney......

 Well Lance and Jesse took a weekend trip to Nashville for a 2 day TNJGA Golf Tourney on a course Jesse had never laid eyes on until he played it....but he did well according to Lance!  He still has a ton of improving to so, but at least he's having fun doing it!
While in Nashville they drove around Vanderbilt Campus and walked around the Belmont Campus, which Jesse really enjoyed.....
