Claire painted this portait of Tommy's resuce and he was speechless...he loved it!

Tommy and Nana deep in phone discussions apparantly!

Claire with sweet Olive

Well, Christmas was wonderful again this year, but we did it across the span of 2 weeks!  My parents both got COVID, so we did not celebrate with them until New Years Day.  By that day, my brother Tommy was also sick!  But, he came to our house on Christmas Day, so at least we got to see him and he got to open his gifts!  We traveled 5 days later to Jackson to do Christmas with Lance's side, but his grandparents were also sick.  But Lance got to be with both of his siblings and their kids.  It was great!

Claire loves to arrange her goodies for a few days....

Me loving on my brother's rescue named Olive.  She's a gentle giant!
Lance got me a cute little Cricut Joy for Christmas, so of course Claire and I have vinyled everything we can think of around the house!

Claire looking like quite the teenager headed to the driving range.  Memphis was so cold, the greens were covered for 10 days here...that's UNHEARD of here in Memphis!  But she adapted!  We are back to normal almost around here....Claire is back to school, Jesse hass one more week here with us taking Wintermester Classes, and then will be back to finish his last year.....Happy New Year!

Nutcracker and more!

Well, the semester is over for both kids.  Jesse had a rough one....Claire did great!  We did our annual Nutcracker date and had brunch first at South of Beale and visited The Peabody to see all the amazing decor!

Claire loved her smoked salmon bagel with lox and every table got popcorn with cinnamon sugar!  She loved that!   I love that she still lets me drag her to the Nutcracker every year.....we had a blast!

Tigers had a huge home game vs Texas A&M so we took the kids to that.  Had a great time...and a win!

Claire gets her class ring!

Well, another great Junior Year Memory for Claire!  Today SBA celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception followed by the Junior Ring Ceremony!  Claire was tickled to received hers today!  She was all smiles!

I have been filling in the SBA clinic for the past several months while we interviewed and searched for the perfect school nurse,  and we have finally filled the position with a full time RN, so my time as a nurse at SBA has come to a slow down starting the end of enst week! But  I can't wait to sub there again in the clinic when they need me!

43 for Thanksgiving!!!

Other than the dreary rain, we had an absolute blast hosting my mom's entire side (and more!) for Thanksgiving yesterday.  I was in high stress mode when I saw that my plans for outside activities and dining were ruined, but we all pivoted to the garage (not my 1st choice) and made it work...Claire was an especially big help to me and my mom, who came the night before to prepare the turkey and dressing! We are so very Thankful for each other !

Keurig coffe/tea/hot cocoa bar was a hit with everyone!

Sweet Emily came and helped me so very much throughout the day!!

A rare picture of my side of the family....Tommy included!

Lance turns 50!

Well, sweet Lance turned 50 and we will have had 3 days of celebrations by the time this is done with!!! On his actual Birthday the Tigers played at home, so we went to that.  It's been a rough year for the Tigers, but we won and cheered them on thank goodness!  Lance's work also threw him a work party complete with an apple pie!

Friday, we went to the Bar B Q shop with our parents, The Cardosi Family, and The Webster Family.  We played Lance car trivia and had a great time and great food!

Jesee came home for the weekend just for Lance!!!

Tonight I got Lance and I tickets to see Nate Batgatze at the orpheum...should be a blast.  Thank you Lance for being the best prodier, husbamd, and golf dad that exists!  We love you so much...Happy Birthday!!!

We finished up the birthday weekend with tickets to Lance's favorite comedian, Nate Bargatze.  He was a riot and we had an absolute blast.  Happy Birthday Lance!!
