Spring Golf is in Full Swing!

Claire and her team took home the 1st place today in another college tourney...The Cleary Invite!  Claire was a medalist with 5th overall out of 45.  We go next week to see her WHAC Championships!!!

Claire had a big 2 day last week and they finished 2nd by 1 stroke! They all battled it out and Claire tied for 5th!  Go Blue Devils!

Someone turned 24 and loves their fancy new pickleball racquet that we send in the mail!

Claire went to a Fraternity Dinner/Formal with a friend and LTU Soccer player and this is all I got!

Happy 18th Adoption Day Claire!!!

Boy I am so so behind in posting.  I am working a lot these days that we have an empty nest.  We are hanging with friends, and doing all the things, including pickleball!  We went to a Grizzlies Game with tThe Esnards and had a blast!

Hamilton never disappoints!

The newleyweds have an adventure every single weekend!  So excited for them!

Jesse was celebrated after completing one year of his 2 year Track position!! On to another group within GM!  Go Jesse Go!

We travel next week to Auburn tos ee Claire play, so lots to post soon!!!!

Wicked and Justin!!!!

Mom treated me to tickets to see Wicked for opening day and it was amazing!!  I sang all the way throught and apologized to mom later!!  Stunning!

My dear friend and concery buddy Amy went to our 3rd JT concert and let me tell you...it was sold out and it was his best performance yet!  Finally got floor seats and they did NOT disappoint!  So grateful I was able to do this with Amy again!

Kids are coming home this weekend!  Can't wait to see them all...lots coming soon!

Well Newlywed barbie anda Ken  had a blast giving oout candy ont their first Halloween!

Gretchen had her first Hot Pot experience with a fellow golf mom friend!  So much fun!

Jesse & Emily went to Destin for Emily's Birthday Weekend in The Cardosi Condo!

Gretchen and her Halth Assesment Team....we had a blast assessing thousands of kids in the Bartlett School System!

Claire and fellow golfer from France Liza took a day trip with Jesse and Emily to lake Huron and had a blast visiting the lighthouses !

Fall has been at it's peak in Michigan the past few weeks, so Jesse and Emily have been doing all the things they can on the weekends in their new home...they love it!

Emily and Jesse suprised Claire at her dorm one evening with her favorite Boba Tea and a new phone charger!

Claire and her freshmen friends  worked at a family golf course and restaurant for a day.....

We all went to our first Detroit Redwings Game this past weekend and had a blast!   We love hockey apparently!

After mass in Birmingham we went to a cider miss and had hot apple cider and apple doughnuts....amazing!

So glad the kids are an easy plane trip away....missing them and ready for them to come home for a few days on Thanksgiving!!!

 

LTU Takes 1st!

Proud of Claire battling it out on a brutal hard course with brutal weather these past 2 days. Claire and her LTU Teammates have played 4 tough tournaments in 4 weeks! Not sure she loves walking 36 holes on day1 of these tournaments, but she'd doing it! Claire has made a top 10 or better finish in every one! Next one is Friday!! Go Claire go and go Blue Devils! Claire placed 9th out of 65 girls! Small but mighty continues!

 

Claire's 3rd Tournament is in the books!!!

Well, Claire and her team traveled to Peru, Indiana for the Rumble on the Rock Tourney against 11 teams (i think?).  We have jobs, so Lance says we can't go to all the tournaments! Anyway, this was her best one yet!!!  She placed 7th out of 51 ladies and her team did well!!  proud of her 77s!They had an hour fog delay today.... She's getting used to playing 21 and 22 years olds now...she's hopefully locked in for the rest of the season!!

Claire qualifies for Kaiser Shootout in West Palm Beach!

This gator was right next to Claire as she was teeing off......we didn't tell her until she hit the ball!

Lance and I saw a young boy accidentally catch a shrk on Juno beach....He cut the line but neat to see up close!

Well, Claire scored in the first college tourney of her career well enough to make it to the top 5 for the next tourney...this time at the PGA National Course in West Palm Beach!  Brutal does not describe the course.  It was long for her and of so hard....it was like wacky golf on some holes.  Anyway, she struggled, but so did everyone else....she finished 2nd on her team and in the middle of the pack of all the girls.....I think there were 80 girls.   She learned some hard lessons on this one, but still finished with a smile!  SHe enjoyed flying with the team and the fancy hotel and restaurants!  They even allotted 2 hours for beach time after the practice round!

She played 36 holes in 100% humidity and mid 90's heat that took10 hours.....

Her coaches usually stay out of her way, but occasionally will check up on her on a green or two!

I enjoyed all the wildlife both days....Never have I seen so many lizards..they were literally covering some of the trees!!!

There were everywhere....and oh so loud!

Claire and her last day opponents...they were all 21 or older....Claire was the baby both days!!!
