Jesse has PROM and turns 18 in the same day!!!!

 Jesse took Emily to their very last prom, and turned 18 all in the same day!!Jesse registered to vote, registered for the draft, turned 18, and had prom all in the same day!  It was a beautiful day for pics, and I just can't believe his high school career is coming to a close....so very bittersweet!

 So proud of you Jesse! We love you and can't wait to see what the future holds for you!

Jesse gets an Internship!!

Our hearts are full and proud today as we received news that after a rigorous application and multiple interview process, Jesse has received one of the coveted few Medtronic Summer Internships for rising college freshmen or sophomores! Watch out world...there is no telling what this boy might invent....We love you Jesse!!!

So this has already been quite a week.....

Our Jesse, who is has literally been playing tennis for a month, won a doubles match today against CBHS!  So proud for him stepping out of his golf comfort zone to help out the SBA tennis team! Let's hope he keeps this up! 

And for the big news!!!! Jesse has accepted a scholarship to attend Mississippi State University and will major in Electrical Engineering!  We couldn't be happier for him.....God has lots in store for you Jesse!! We love you!!!

Let the Spring Festivities Begin!

Well, the weekend was full of golf and fun!  Tonight was the SBA Mother/Son Senior Dinner at The Butcher Shop and kicks off the many festivities leading up to Jesse's graduation....such a memorable night and had an absolute blast!

 Claire played in her first ever USJGT 2 day 36 hole tournament and struggled mightily...she was recovering from being sick, but never stopped....she will only get better from here!!!  The girls she played with  were the best around!

Happy12th Adoption Day!!!

WOW! 12 years has flown by so very quickly!  Today marks our 12th year with Claire as a part of our family and we honestly barely remember what it was like before she entered all of our lives!  We are so grateful to God for Claire and all of her amazing qualities!  She lights up our lives every single day!  We love you Claire!!

Little Bit gets inducted into the NJHS!

Well, Little Claire has worked so hard this year and got inducted into the NJHS Wednesday!  She was all smiles and we are so proud of her hard work....7th Grade has been hard!

 The Grandparents showed up for this special day!!

Can't wait to see what the future has in store for this one!!

Valentine's Week Fun!!!

Well, we had a wonderful evening with our friends the Websters.  We tried out the restaurant Katherine & Mary's and it did not disappoint! Then we sang out loud at The Orpheum to On Your Feet!  and just had a blast!! 

Lance gave me a little home jewelry show on Valentine's Day, and I was able to pick 3 pieces!  His client is a talented jewelry maker, and so I was one happy girl.  I finally decided on 3 after 2 days of trying on and consulting with Claire!  He went above and beyond this time, and I am so grateful for him!!!

February Fun!!!

 Well, our former neighbor and good friend Marcus was inducted last night into the UofM Athletic Hall of Fame and we were invited.  We had a blast and just felt like one of the family.  So proud of all his accomplishments!

More January Fun!!

Well , we had a sunny day for a change, so we rented Bird Scooters and rode to eat and to the Forum for the Tiger Game.  And had a blast in the meantime!!

Jesse and Emily attended the Winter Semi Formal Saturday at SBA and as usual, had a great time!  Jesse is on the SGA Board again this year, so enjoyed planning it and seeing it through.....

Jesse Marches Again.......

Well, Jesse and a few hundred SBA/CBHS students took the pilgrimage to DC last week for the March For Life.  This was Jesse's 2nd trip, and once again, it did not disappoint!  He thoroughly enjoyed mass in the cathedral and every event they attended!

Hope Jesse always marches for what he believes in!

Jesse's First Concert!!!

Well, we got our hands on some last minute JT tickets for the show last night and Jesse got to experience one of the best performers ever! Such a  great show and we just had a blast! Great first concert!

they were indeed nosebleed seats, but we didn't care!
