Jesse Graduates!!!!!!

Well, our hearts are full and proud as Jesse graduated from SBA yesterday!  We were proud of him beyond words for all he has accomplished there....seeing him walk across the stage with his honor society stole and all his cords was so worth it after all his past 4 years of work and frustrations!  We had a friends and family party here last night, and we are grateful for each and every one who attended!  Jesse is one loved young man...Tomorrow he enters a new phase of his life...his summer internship with Medtronics.  We are so very proud and can't wait to see what the future holds for Jesse....we love you so much Jesse!!!!

Though Jesse will not be playing college golf, golf has been such a part of his life these past 4 years and I'd be remiss not to put it somewhere in the party!! So I thought this was a good little compromise!

It's Party Time.......

Well, Claire wanted a party similar to the one Jesse had when he turned 13 with a scavenger hunt of Memphis, so that's just what we did!  We rented a party bus and had a blast! But first, I had to decorate the house of course!  She wanted a golf cake, so I just went with the golf theme of course!!!

More pics to come, but they went all over Memphis in search of clues and ended up all over the place!!! Graceland, The Peabody, Sears Crosstown, Beale Street, the I Love Memphis Mural, Quail Ridge Golf Course, and more!!!  We love you sweet Claire, and hope you had the most wonderful 13th Birthday!!

Claire Turns 13!!!!!?????

Well, Claire turned 13 today, and I'm still in disbelief that my little China Doll is a teen!! The big party is this weekend, so I promise to post again soon!  She celebrated at school and then at home with a cookie cake.....much more to come soon!  We love you little Claire!!!

Jesse is Mr. SBA!!!

Be still my heart.....Today was the senior awards ceremony at SBA, and Jesse was voted Mr. SBA!  So proud of all his accomplishments! He also received a perfect attendance award for all 4 years of high school!!! Soar Jesse Soar!

My Final Teacher Appreciation Luncheon ......

Well, my duties as the PTO president for the 3rd year came to a close today as I co-chaired with my dear friend Amy the Annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon......this time Paris Themed!  It was a huge success and the teachers loved every second of it.....enjoy the pics!  This was my favorite theme so far I think!!

 Proud of Claire today!  Claire participated in a 2 day 36 hole USJGT tournament at Galloway and placed 2nd......she's getting better and better!!! So proud of your efforts Claire!!!

Happy Easter! He Has Risen!!

Well we spent Easter in Jackson, MS as we do every year celebrating 2 separate family reunions and a Golf Tournament on Lance's side....the weather was lovely and the kids are just growing up before our eyes....

Claire played for the first time in the Hollingsworth Golf Tournament and did great!  It was a scramble, and she helped the team!  Go Little Bbit!!!

We found a little Catholic Church in Jackson and attended Mass before the final reunion...it was a treat!

 And Lance and Gretchen celebrated 23 years on Saturday!

Jesse Plays In A Tournament

 Well, the boys had a tournament at St Georges yesterday and came in 3rd.....we were thrilled because Jesse has just started this sport!
