Let the holidays begin!!

It feels like Christmas now that we have seen the Nutcracker...again!  This was our 10th Nutcracker together at The Orpheum and as usual, it was lovely and put us in the Holiday Spirit!

I made 70 ish cookies for Lance to take to his employees and co-workers.....if I never see royal icing again I am ok with that....ever.....

Little bit continues to practice after school at quail, regardless of temps....her old friend mr Cordell saw her playing and pulled over and started right back giving her putting tips....proud of her effort all year long!

Claire got ready with Wallace and they and a big group of friends went to the SBA junior high Holiday Dance....a lot of fun was apparently had!

Ms Claire here recently found out she is a finalist in the LPGA "What Drives You" essay contest.  She entered and now is headed to Orlando in January and given tickets to the LPG Tournament of Champoins Pro Am and received an invite to the clinic led by LPGA pros!  She is so excited she can hardly wait til January.....we will pack in a one day visit to Sea World while we are there!   Lots coming soon on that trip.....but first we will travel to Dallas for the COTTON BOWL on December 28th....GO TIGERS!

Claire's SFA 8th Grade Beta Club prepared 26,000 medals the day before the St Jude Marathon as a day of service.  It was a ton of work, but they had a blast, and it was all for a great cause!!

Happy Thanksgiving...and Go Tigers Go!

Well another wonderful Thanksgiving is in the books and I hosted 40 from my Mom's Side!  A blast was had by all!

The next day the Tigers had a huge home game, so Claire stayed behind this time and Jesse came with Lance and I!  The tigers pulled out the win and it was magnificent!! 

Emily came over to see us while home from MSU, and helped Claire and I decorate the tree....

Happy Thanksgiving.....now on to prepare for the Advent Season!  

Go Tigers Go!!!! And a tad bit of Halloween!

Well, college Game Day came to Memphis Saturday for the Tiger Game VS SMU, and it did not disappoint!  It was a cold evening, and the Tigers pulled a win in front of a national audience on ABC!  We had an absolute blast...wasn't quite the same without Jesse, but he was watching from his dorm and was with us in spirit!!

 Claire has gotten too big for a fancy costume according to her, so she and her friend dressed as superheroes and still had a great night trick or treating!  Can't believe how fast time is flying by!

Family Weekend at MSU....and a bit of golf!

Well we have missed Jesse, and got to see him this weekend at Bulldog Family Weekend down in Starkville!  Despite the nonstop rain, we had a great time and found Jesse doing oh so well!

Jesse's friend Eli joined us for dinner the first evening at Bulldog Burger, and that place did not disappoint!

Claire loves anything dog related...so apparently we came to the right place!

A family tour of all things MSU Football.....all I have to say is the Tigers won last weekend GO Tigers!!  But we will be Bulldogs while we are down visiting Jesse!

We left bright and early and arrived back in Memphis just in time for Lance and Claire to participate in the Father/Daughter end of the season Scramble!  They had a blast and posted a 36.  About half of Claire's shots were used at least....not even sure Lance had to put yesterday! Go Team Hollingsworth!

Fall Competitive Golf Comes to a Close......

Well, little bit played in her last competitive tournament of the year today and finished 18 holes with an 87!  She's starting to break 90 on a regular basis and we are so proud!  She placed 4th today, and 4th overall for the entire season in Memphis!  Her effort overwhelms us.  She will spend the fall and winter practicing, and getting stronger....she gets to play in a Father/Daughter Scramble next week for fun and she's so excited to play with Lance!  Great end to the season for our little one!

Claire pulls out a tie for 1st in the PAA!

Well, she battled it out today at Whitehaven for a tie for 1st in the PAA Championship. She shot an 84 on 18 holes and we are so proud of her! So, she is co-champions with Grace, her sweet friend!

Jesse comes home from Fall Break!

Jesse came home for a long weekend and we had a whirlwind of a busy 4 days!!  Golf, family, football, schoolwork, car repairs...you name it we did it!  He seems to be loving college and we are so glad he made it back to MSU safely!  MSU Family Weekend is in the end of October, so we will have a chance to see him on his turf!!  Much more coming soon!
