Earlier in the school year, Claire was nominated to apply for the DAR Citizenship award for The West Tn Chapter. She had to write the essay in front of a counselor and turn it in within 2 hours....she didn't love the process but did it anyhow! She foound out recently that she not only won the citizen scholarship award from the local chapter she also won the West Tennessee award and will find out in Nashville in June if she won the state award! She didn't love being the center of attention, but was a champ accepting the awards! We are so proud of the young woman, golfer, student, and citizen she has become!
