Busy Busy Fall Break........

 Well she did it.....Claire has been asking and asking to have her hair cut for months and I've been putting if off for months. We finally bit the bullet and let her do it.....I'm secretly hoping she grows it out again....but she loves it, and that's all that matters I suppose!

 We took a road trip to Starkville, MS to Mississippi State University for a huge high school robotics competition with SBA.  They didn't win, but learned a lot and worked hard as a team!

 Jesse was on the marketing team and had to present to the judges and did a great job!

SBA Golf Finishes The Season.....

 Well, the SBA  Golf Banquet was tonight and Jesse had a blast with all his teammates....He really became attached to his coach, and can't wait to come back stronger as a sophomore!  He won the Rookie of the Year Award, and was a proud fellow tonight!

We had a blast (well, most of the time) watching Jesse on the Varsity Team as a Freshman, but he wants to get stronger and better for summer tour golf....we shall see!!!

Our Baby Has Braces.....

 Poor Claire and her tiny mouth with no room for all her teeth!!! Poor Claire is a champ and went today for top braces and an expander installed in her jaw.

Full Steam Ahead....

 Well, Claire is smack dab in the middle of soccer season and loving every minute of it. She's tiny out there, but quick as can be and just cracks us up how she can just jump in there and get that ball.  She's becoming fearless.  We have a blast watching her and can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds!

Today I officially feel old...Jesse's first Homecoming Dance.....

 Well, a very happy Jesse and not so sure about this mom about to pick up Annie for the big SBA Homecoming Dance!

Jesse was very very excited about his first high school dance...a night I'm sure he will always remember...Bittersweet for me because I can still remember my first Homecoming Dance!  Well, I'm sure he and Annie had a blast and wonderful memories made!

Jesse goes to Nashville.....

 Well, Jesse found out last week he was one of the 6 selected from the SBA golf team to travel to the big Father Ryan Golf Tourney outside of Nashville.  He was so very happy and so very nervous, but despite the heavy rain, his team placed 3rd!  They were thrilled and Jesse did his best....He is really enjoying being on the golf team and enjoys all his new friends....even if he is the lone underclassmen!

Another Day of Firsts!

 Not only did Jesse become a high school freshman today, but he started on the Varsity SBA Golf Team against MUS!  He was a nervous wreck, and didn't do as well as he had hoped, but he did his best at Colonial CC!

 Then entire team showed up for the match, even the non-starters, and supported Jesse and the other starters.  It was truly great to see those boys root for their teammates.....

Finishing up the round on the beautiful course....SBA lost, but it was a fantastic learning experience for Jesse! Lots coming up soon!

First Day of Hign School and 4th Grade!!!

 My two kiddos are growing up too fast!  Jesse's first day of High School and Claire's first day of Fourth Grade!  Both super excited to meet new teachers and new friends!

 Claire is beyond words excited to have Mrs. Sobalvarro this year as her fourth grade teacher.  She will have a fantastic year!
