My 19th Mother's Day

Well, the Lord blessed me with my 19th Mother's Day today....we started the day with a breakfast social distancing style at mom and dad's patio and it was perfect!  My brother Tommy served as the waiter so I didn't have to lift a finger and it was so nice to be waited on!  Thanks mom and dad for the delicious meal!

The kids and I in front of mom and dad's pond on this beautiful mother' s day!

Showing off our new shirts...Go Annabelle Go!

I woke up to the house all secorated by Claire and Jesse...it was so sweet!

I got a new crossbody tassel purse and tons of oragami hearts made by Claire....not to mention some new mini rain boots and some stuff for the deck!

And yes thise are rose petals all over the house that Claire laid down.....that's a first....my OCD cleanliness kicked in but I just smiled and was grateful.....

Thank you God for blessing me with these two!

Last Day of SFA...ever

Well, today was Claire's last day of SFA...ever.  Even though it was in quarantine, it is the end of such a huge chapter for our family.  SFA has been the best place for my kids these past 9 years and has done such a fine job with both Jesse and Claire....bittersweet day ......can't wait to see what the future holds for Claire!

Quarantine continues....

Jesse made this without a single video or instruction....its over 4 feet tall and hope I don't accidentally knock it down in the middle of the nght!

Because all things school have come to a halt, Claire was mailed this $100 check and certificate from the Knights of Colombus for winning the Tennessee State Council essay on the Virtue of Charity...it will be submitted on the international level now...proud of our little one!

14 in Quarantine!

Well, we had a social distancing gathering with our parents, but Claire's friends did a suprise Drive-By as the party was starting up!  Claire was so excited and thrilled to see them all....been a rough few weeks.  So our little bit turned 14 today and the weather was the best day ever, and she had a great day after all!  We used some old decor from a prior party, and just went with it!!  Fruity drinks and all!  We made individual Bundt cakes in strawberry, and coconut and they were all a hit!  She received some much needed calligraphy pens and a new calligraphy book....along with a new backpack and lunch box for high school, sideways cross necklace, Amazon Card, money, ear buds, Bluff City Soaps, and some monogrammed golf balls!!!  Who knew they made such a thing!!!

Jesse made this and the back side is a bunch of minifigs that open up and they come off if needed....We love you so much Claire!  So sorry you have missed out on so much this year, but we love you so much for hanging in there!!!

I was just thrilled to be putting on something other than leggings!!!

Gretchen's Meltdown in Qurantine

I can handle ALMOST anything in life...but snakes.

This visited us on the patio today and I lost it for about 2 hours...I do not care that it's not posionous. It's 4 feet long and scares me to death...I want to move now but Lance tells me I"m being a tad dramatic.....uggggggg.....I hate this thing.

On a better note, all my rose bushes are in full bloom! God is good!

Well, I sewed until I had no more elastic...and now elastic can't be found anywhere.  I did enjoy using all my old fabirc scraps though! Giving these to my mom, hairdresser, and etc....pretty much anyone non-medical in need of one!  Claire and I had fun doing these!
