Fun in May!

Well, today was the awards ceremony in Jesse's school where he won the Honor Roll Award and the Most Outstanding Effort Award. We are proud of our Jesse!!

Yesterday was Field Day and Jesse loved the different events! Here's Jesse in the soccer relay. His team won all of their events! Go Mr. Cook's Class!

Well, yet another Birthday has been celebrated this weekend.....this time it's Claire!! Claire turned #4 to record amount of rainfal, storms, and general chaos outside. Rainapolooza! Well, many of our dear family and friends braved the storms and came to celebrate Claire's #4 with us! Claire really wanted a Ni Hao Kai Lan Party, and that she did get. She wanted to dress like her, and that she did as well!


Despite the rain, we all had a great time!

The Annual Dragon Boat Festival

Well, this weekend was also the FCC annual Dragon Boat Festival. This year it was held on Mud Island, and all the kids decorated their ducks like dragons and floated them down the Mud Island River Walk. They had a blast!! Here's Claire with Abby Grace, who is also from the Hunan Province!

It's Birthday Party Time!!

Well, we've had the pleasure of attending Lily Grace's big #4 today and the girls just had a blast and giggled all the way through. What a blast. Also, Claire sitting on the bar before heading back outside to ride Jesse's scooter. Lots coming up, so will post again real soon!!!

What a wonderful, fun filled weekend we have had! Jesse's team was in a Spring PreSeason Tournament and played all weekend....somehow we managed to sneak in a fabulous birthday party for Jesse in the middle!

All the boys just had a blast bowling against each other! It appears that Pawpaw is excited about something.......

Jesse bowled great and just loved competing against his friends for the highest score....it always helps when there are bumpers!

Guess Who's Nine?

Hard to believe Jesse is 9!! He celebrated his birthday at school and at home with us after baseball practice! His party is this weekend, so lots more pics to come!!!

Jesse fed birthday treats to his class and Lance, Claire, and I brought him sushi for lunch. He was so greatful for a break from a sandwich!!!

Happy Easter!!

Well, it was a wonderful and event filled weekend and the kids enjoyed it every step of the way!

Such a Busy Friday!!!!

Well, we had one heck of a busy weekend...and it's only Saturday! We are blessed to have a daddy (my husband) who provides for us and enables us to do such fun things like go to the zoo any time we please.....and travel to see our Tigers play!!!


We took Jesse to Oxford to see the Tigers play Ole Miss.....that did not turn out too well....unfortunately. We still had a great time and some great Jesse time.

Before the game, we tailgated just outside the coliseum and saw Cousin Daniel and his wife Kristina......their son, cousin Lukas, had a great time just chasing after Jesse.....such a cute little Tiger Fan!

Before the game, I took Claire to the zoo on such a beautiful day.....only to run into her friend and gymnastics buddy Elliot. He took her hand and she just did whatever he did.......cute for now....in 12 years or so I'll tell her not to let a man be your boss.....haha!
